vary from pure tax rules and strategies to business tips to inspirational stories. There are a few times where I delve into politics. Please remember that there is one common theme to all of my writings. It is really simple; you need to own your own business. If you want to take advantage of tax breaks, if you desire to be in control of your own destiny and you want political changes to have the least affect on your life, then you need to have your own business. <br> &nbsp;<br> We have discussed in prior e-mails how this is the best time to start your own business.&nbsp; The obstacles are far lower than they have been in years. Unemployment is high which means that there are great people available to work for and for considerably less money. Vacancies are high which means landlords will make incredible deals to fill vacancies for retail, office, and industrial space. Landlords of prime commercial property who would have never talked to a start-up company without substantial backing are now anxious to negotiate with anyone who is interested. Unbelievable deals are available on new and used equipment. Furthermore, with many companies going out of business the competition is less making it easier to gain market share.<br> &nbsp;<br> So maybe you already agree and you know that this is the time to start a business. Now it is just a matter of what type of business. All of the extensive reasons for starting a business do not count if it is the wrong business. The business must be right for the times but also right for you. For example, many people buy into multi-level marketing businesses because they are inexpensive to get started and the income potential is massive. However the person buying the business does not like to sell. The multi-level marketing businesses definitely may be right for the times but it is not right for someone who does not want to sell.&nbsp; Finding the business that is right for both you and times is important. These days none of us have the time or money to waste on the wrong business.<br> &nbsp;<br> In order to find the right business you need to look into as many ideas as possible and then critically analyze them. Does the business make sense in the current economy? What is the growth potential for the industry?&nbsp; How about the time commitment, do you have the time it takes to make that business successful? Do you have the skill set need to run the business? These are some of the many questions you must to consider before you let the income potential influence you. After you decide that the business meets those criteria then look at the income. Is it truly enough to meet your goals for a business?<br> &nbsp;<br> I would like to suggest a business I believe is right for the times that I think you should look into to see if it is right for you. This is a business that, if run properly, only requires 5 to 10 hours a week of your time. This is a business that is NOT labor intensive so you won't have a lot of employees to manage.&nbsp; Rocket scientists need not apply. There is no selling involved and you don't have to ask your friends and family to buy anything. It is a service-based business that fulfills a basic necessity in life, and is therefore recession resistant.&nbsp; In fact, this business does even better when there is a national recession.&nbsp; Oh and by the way, for this service they pay in advance with all cash! There are no &quot;checks in the mail&quot; or Account Receivables. This is a real, brick and mortar business, in a mature industry that generates annual sales of over $20 Billion dollars. Where nationally 9 out of 10 small businesses fail in the first five years, this business has a 98% success rate. That is even better than franchises and this is not a franchise!
